Chlamydia and Gonorrhea: What You and Your Clients Need to Know

Course Content: This course is designed to guide clinicians with current evidence regarding the epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of chlamydia and gonorrhea. The course is based on CDC's 2010 STD Treatment Guidelines and provides information on guidelines and regulations specific to the states in Region I (New England).

Target Audience: Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse-midwives, physician assistants, and nurses who provide family planning or STD screening services to their clients.

CEUs: Yes. Course is approved for 1.0 contact hour for nurses and 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for continuing medical education (CME). CMEs are available only to physicians practicing in Region I — CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, and VT.

Self-study STD Modules for Clinicians

Course Content: The course provides a basic introduction to STD diagnosis and management. There are seven self-study modules each focusing on a specific STD, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, HSV, HPV, PID, syphilis and vaginitis.
